yea, good point. If only I hadn't included "remotely," I would still be considered brilliant. Oh why did I have to do such a gargantuan backtrack? I'm so ashamed. I really am.

You're right though. Smart people DEFINITELY think Gailey is a top-shelf NFL coach. So all of this GT talk makes total sense.

It is all about career path for Fisher... I do not believe that Saban or Miles are the type of guys that can or would go to bat for you to get you a big time job. Bowden was that person that would be a powerful advocate to get him into the upper type jobs.

If he stays at LSU... he will have full control over the offense...period!!!!! I know that for a fact that was his biggest problem about staying at LSU is that Miles would not let him call the games without medling... many LSU fans in my opinion do not realize the genious that he is.

    Sure you do, pal.

Any offensive coordinator who believes the head coach won't have the final say on the offense is a damn fool and Jimbo is not a fool. The head coach's job is on the line and they will damn well have their way. Nick and Jimbo bumped heads, too, you now. All ambitious coordinators will have friction with the head coach. "Meddling" in the OC offense indeed! It's Miles' team, not Fisher's.

He's a defensive Coordinator, not a defensive Czar. His job is to implement the head coach's plan. Very good ones are given much autonomy as Jimbo has under Nick and Les. But it ain't a ticket to ride. Maybe Jimbo doesn't think Miles has a good plan, but he's going to be "meddled" with wherever he goes until he becomes head coach and can have it his way.

Everybody is assuming here that Jimbo is annoyed and wants to get away from Les. I think it is equally likely that Les has advised Jimbo that he needs to find some greener pastures.

I suspect that Stacy Searles got the same advice.

He does make some genius calls at times. Ill give him his due, he has his greaat moments. Overall though he is too conservative. He is too predictable a lot of times. Relying too often on the WR screen. It will work from time to time. He goes to it far too much. Two years ago when Skylar was in the game you could bet that he was getting a screen pass. Teams realized that and jumped on it. He also calls the quick slant too often, it works a lot, but often looks like its gonna blow up.

Speculation is it could be. I would not be surprised if he went there for an interview. I don't know what his chances are of getting it. Too early to tell. GT will certainly be speaking with other candidates.

Don't be suprised if Fisher ends up going to FSU. Seems as if things are changing with Bowden and Jimbo.

I don't care where Jimbo goes just as long as he leaves LSU. I've never liked him as the OC and never will. He runs a very predictable offense which leads to close scoring games and does not utilize the talent that LSU has. I also believe that Les pulls the trump card on him when there is a great play call, which makes Les a great HC IMO. Just my .02

I am hearing that it is pretty much done, Jimbo to FSU, but for less money than he could have had on Friday. Looks like Bowden is a better poker player than Sexton.

Deceks, you're a respected poster here, albeit a barner, but this is the second time in ten minutes you have stated something like this. Why can't you say where you are "hearing" all this stuff? Warchant.com states that FSU's courtship of Fisher is over. They could be wrong of course, but at least I name a source.
