Will the NFL ever consider taking a college head coach, even one with a Nat. Championship, and moving him directly to a pro head coach? Saban may have ended that. Only Jimmy Johnson succeeded, and Switzer to a degree, at least he got a ring with Johnson's boys. I would be surprised (again) if Tuberville goes to the Falcons.
I really don't believe this either.. I live in Auburn and I have met him several times and went to AU practice with him.. He definitely doesnt seem like a kind of guy that would coach in the NFL.. But it really doesn't matter to me because I'm a Bama fan! I want him to stay at least one year so that we can show him what it's like to get whipped by :champs:!
Don't believe it. Falcons' owner Arthur Blank wants a big-name head coach. Hiring Tubberville would go against everything he and the media has talked about.
So....are you planning on showing CTT the game film of LSU beating your team. I bet CTT will appreciate getting to see a comedy film during the season. Everyone needs a break from the serious work of contending for a title.

:hihi: You guys are going down too Deceks. By the way, I met half of your team the other night, while sitting on I-20. On the way to N.O., we got stuck behind a bad wreck. We sat in one place for about 4 hours. Well, it was a little interesting since half of the cars around us were filled with AU football players on their way back home from the Cotton. It made for good conversation. No problems. They seemed liked nice young men. They all talked good about LSU, and took our ribbing quite well. Maybe AU isn't so bad....naw, ya'll suck. :grin:
