I gained a lot more respect for Miles after the Sugar Bowl. He made great adjustments at halftime. Afterwhich LSU dominated. I like the fire he showed as well. I really feel Miles is very loyal to LSU. I was impressed how he spoke of the state and LSU being one. He really gets the love and passion the fans have for LSU. Miles wants to be here, that is something I appreciate. Hypothetically speaking, I think he would turn down any offer to stay here. Im sure he would probably leave for Michigan, but thats understandable because he is from there.
Simply saying  gets Tulane fans panties all up in a wad. You would think after all this time they would get with the program?:dis:
My only problem is that this is the second year in a row that they wait till the end of the season to get really agressive with the play calling. Now I don't know if that's Fisher's calls and Miles changing them in the regular season or post season or vice-versa, but whatever they decide to do for the bowl games seem to be the way to go.
Seems to me that when Miles and Co. have more than a week to prepare for an opponent (can't recall if that specifically includes coming off bye weeks or not--but it certainly applies to Bowl games) they seem to know precisely what they want to do and it gives the impression that the more time they have to prepare for an opponent, they retain so much knowledge of what that team will do and gameplan so accurately for it, that they are comfortable with what they're calling. You can just tell the comfort level of Miles is going up and up with each passing week. He has exhibited more "fire" on the sidelines during games....has become more aggressive with trick plays (fake punts, fake FG's) and maybe it's just me, but he becomes more assertive in pre-game/mid-game interviews. You can just tell Miles is beginning to feel more and more like this is HIS program.
