as a alumni of the university, i just want to express how embarrassed and ashamed I am at the actions of notre dame posters, and the notre dame boards. there's a reason why there's so little going on with the notre dame boards; any decent person would have left those boards a long time ago. there's too much ugly bigotry and hate allowed on that board. too many notre dame supporters are allowed a carte blanche, where they can freely throw around racist and homophobic slurs at anybody who does not fully support notre dame. it is the person who questions the usage of the slur who gets banned, not the original poster. for me, the final straw was when coach schembechler died. some posters took this as a chance to take some potshots at a decent man. i am all too aware of the underlying racism and homophobia of many fans of notre dame. it is pathetic how they still blame coach willingham years later. you must understand that coach willingham was the first african american to ever coach at notre dame, and many fans never accepted him from the very beginning. the way lsu played, i don't think any team could have beat it that night. lsu should have been playing for a national championship this year and will surely be playing for one next year with all the talent lsu has accumulated.
Wow, Thank You for giving us credit. I am thankful that LSU has played very well in Bowl games under Les Miles so far.

That's a very straight shooting heartfelt post, and I appreciate it. You are welcome to camp out here, as I think it is a great forum. We have some characters, we squabble some, but mostly have fun. We have Hawker45 from Iowa, who we picked up the year they beat us in the Cap One bowl. We have some great posters from Auburn, but things get tense once a year with them. We have regulars from Bama, and irregular posters from our sister SEC schools. Try it, you may like it.
I will vouch for the LSU family here. Even though I don't understand why some of them dislike AU so much, I wouldn't trade the folk on this forum for any other site. You will like it here.
I think we are all aware that the great majority of ND fans are fine people, and those you mentions represent a small but vocal minority. Hope you keep posting here. You will always be welcome.
