Quite a bit over the top don't you think? I'm about as conservative as they come but this post lacks any semblance of ration argument. You make your points in suck an obnoxious way that even people that believe in the premise of what you trying to say would have a hard time supporting you. It's not like they made any kind of ruling against you, it just an investigation to see it the donations were taxed correctly not some political attach on the sanctity of college football. (I.E...they want to make sure they got their cut) Also, I don't see why your so against the Irish either. You both seem to have a lot in common. Your both infatuated with National Championships that occurred 30+ years ago.

I don't think fifth-highest salary in the Southeastern Conference for a 10 win season or the third-highest paid coach in college football for a national championship is unreasonable.

certainly isnt, but what if say Tubberville had gotten his up'd to $4mil in 2002. then saban won the NC in 03 bringing his highest paid coach if he wins a NC clause into the mix.

would LSU have been able to pay him 4.1 mil? what about other schools who have less money then LSU with coaches that have clauses that deal with being highest/top 5%?

we've gone from 2 mil being the highest to now 4 mil in just 3 years. thats a lot.

Even better than the "drunk hick chick" is the guy in the hound'stooth hat shadowing him. What a perfect introduction: "Welcome to Tuscaloosa, where you'll be competing with a 25 year old ghost every day of the rest of your coaching life."

I would think that congress would be much to busy deficit spending the trillion dollars more than is in the budget for next year. Our grandchildren are going to pay dearly for these budgets, or lack there of. If you love them you better leave them some real estate. They are worried about the pay of coaches when the economy will crash if they don't fix the budget! Congress is messed up. We need balanced budget amendment!

Or the drunk from "Bumfights" wanting Slicky Nicky to sign his chest.
If that's the way you want it Nick, that the way you get it.
    Bwaaahahahahahahahahahaha :thumb: :hihi: :laflagwav

I just hope WE don't catch something just from watching that third world reaction to the savior. :(

I assume this is a joke. Congress is not likely to get involved over what a university decides to pay a coach.
