Hey MTV...hope that tornado yesterday in Da Berry didnt tear up any chicken wire you had laid out. I was shocked to see that headline when i got to work this a.m. Hope everybody you know made out ok!
Thanks for the concern. It was pretty bad and closer to my neighborhood than I can remeber anything else being ('cept Andrew and Rita, of course). A few of my friends did have some moderate damage but thankfully no injuries. Power and cable had been intermittent but things have been normal since this afternoon. This has unfortunately pushed back The Geaux Show Sugar Bowl Wrap-up edition and a few other things I was working on, but chicken wire is very resilient, and i will be ready for tommorow morning. And I do mean tommorow morning. I may have finally worked out the kinks to get TV audio and video working, but i am torn between synced Dickey V or half-second ahead Hawthorn. decisions, decisions.....
enough of the girlie coffee talk. despite uconn's rep and lsu's poor performance against ranked teams, this should be a good game. the main concern--uconn's 7'3" fr center. uconn's stable full of talented guards. LSU has size on them but its in the backcourt. uconn basically goes 7'3", 6'6", 6'6", 6'-6'3". key matchup. my guess is lsu will go man and tmitch will be on their most productive player adrien (6'6" 225 So.). really gotta keep him off the offensive glass. may try to put glen on him to wear him down. surprisingly, for a team that plays a lot of guards, they dont shoot tons of 3s or force many turnovers. but then again theyve only played one good team (WV and lost)
