monster he built in Baton Rouge. Last night showed that we are one of the top programs in the nation. The talent difference between us and the Irish was enormous, but I was proud that we have the coaching to make the proper adjustments at the half to turn the game around. Notre Dame went into the half thinking, maybe we can play with these guys, but Miles and the coaches made some great adjustments that allowed our players to dominate. Nick Saban started this, Les is continuing it and LSU will be Nick's downfall at Alabama. :helmet: :helmet: :crystal: :helmet: :helmet:
While it certainly would not help for Bama to los eto LSU, it would never be his downfall. It's losing repeatedly to that other Alabama university that would be his downfall.
His controlling ways and the Bama boosters are going to clash after the honeymoon is over......and it don't last long with him.
sorry, GulfCoast ..... but y'all are gonna' have to get in line behind Auburn in that department. You see, GulfCoast, AU is in the middle of an "ownage" streak over bama. And remember what Crash Davis says about streaks? ..... "Ya' gotta' respect a streak"
I know, but SHula was 0-8 against both LSU and Auburn. I know that ya'll are a much bigger rival for them, but he has to deal with LSU, Auburn and Arky to win the West. Tough road for him to hoe, esp since he is the one that started the streak that we are on.
Not sure I believe this one. Reason being that our ex-coach is the new Bama coach. We seem to have a streak on our own over Bama. Bama's biggest rival might still be AU but Saban's will be LSU If he is unable to beat either school the clock will start ticking. I guarantee you will hear more about the LSU vs Alabama game than you will the Auburn game until Saban is gone.
You are both correct and it's already been said that Bama's road to the SECCG runs through LSU and AU. :thumb:
' Maybe in Louisiana, and maybe even nationally. but not in Alabama. and certainly not among Alabama players and coaches. The Iron Bowl will always be the must win game for any coach at Auburn or Alabama. Example: When Nick and Teri Saban were getting off the plane...one of the first things you could hear yelled in the video was "Are yall going to beat Auburn??". Like I said, things are a little different over here!
I agree with you and while I think Nick is a very good coach, I don't think him and the alum for Bama are going to be as chummy as the Bama fans like. Saban lost a lot of respect of the public, other coaches and the media by the way he handled himself the past few weeks.
I am watching the press conf. now. He is probably using the same notes from his LSU conf and replaced LSU for bama. What what a ****wad. **** you SABAN
