Just back to gloat about my score prediction of:

    LSU 44 ND 17

Funny that a Barner (that's local lingo for an Auburn fan) has come on the LSU board obsessed with our hire of Saban.

They go to the Cotton Bowl and it's the only four hours of media coverage they have had in the last month.

Have you ever seen a 6-7 team dominate national media coverage before? It kills the Barners, but not like Saban will.

We look forward to some good games in the future with LSU, but our games with the Barners will be blowouts from now on. Like Bama 44 the Barn 17.

    Roll Tide and Geaux Tigers!

I could care less how much you and Tommy " I'll leave Ole Piss in a pine box" Tubby battle it out. The only thing that really matters is how much we hand that growing nose coach of your's a butt whoppin.

You guys can take saban. He is a great coach, a great recruiter, but my respect for him dropped significantly this morning. Saban was given complete control by his gm and he ditches them after 2 years and even had enough arrogance to come back to the SEC west. I cant hate him because he turned our program around and gave us a national championship and also if he didn't leave then we wouldn't have gotten Miles. Miles not only won 11 games in his first two years, crushed both opponents in his bowl games, and is a great recruiter, but he has amazing class and respect for everyone.
When Saban turned down the dinner to meet with the president, I initially thought it was because he is such a hard worker and will never miss a practice and oh man that is just the way he is and that is what makes him great. That was part of it but the other part was arrogance and he showed zero appreciation for the offer. Is a one hour meal with the President of the United States too much to ask for a football coach?
The look on the dolphins gm's face was horrible. He looked totally betrayed and he actually believed Saban when he said "I will not coach at Alabama", like people should. He lied and I'm glad hes not running LSU's football team.
Thanks for the :crystal: $aban, great coach, but that is about it.

    Miles > Saban
    :geauxtige

    - Just my opinion though. thanks for pulling for LSU.

Wow, you were pretty close on your prediction, 41-14 was the final, so you had the point differential perfect. :thumb:

My two brothers went to BAMA :(, but I gotta say that I can't wait for Saban to show up in Tiger Stadium for the first time. It's going to be quite a show.

Regarding Miles, I've been hard on the guy at times over the last two years. he has done a helluva job and what he said tonight to the fans in the stands and those watching TV about our state and many of our members' city was true class. Almost brought tears to my eyes. :) I am glad we have Les!!!
