    The number is 7 years but there are ways to word a contract to make it longer.

    At halftime of the Boise Bowl, they announced that Saban is meeting with officials from Alabama right this minute, and that Huizenga isn't willing to renegotiate Saban's contract (which IMHO, why would he after this seasons lack of success). :geauxtige

    Saban meeting with Alabama today. WH will not negotiate his Dolphins contract

    This was announced on Fox during the half time of the Fiesta Bowl.

    It was also said that Alabam and the Dolphins both want an answer by tomorrow night. I have a bad feeling Saban is comming to Bama.
    I also have a bad feeling this will his last head coaching job and he will fulfill his contract and make Bama, Bama once again.

    Bad news for LSU.

    Too bad bama isnt the recruiting heaven that Louisiana is for LSU... no in-state competition for the best talent in the country...

    Bad news for LSU? Nahh... If he is hired, then Big Ears Tubby is suddenly our best friend because he has a solid program to steal/take the best recruits in that state.
