The FA market is not that good this year as far as quality players, but since the owners are willing to pay these big contracts, these players and their agents are lovin it. I guess it shows how desperate some teams are. Next year's FA market is loaded with a lot of quality players. Lots of Christmas shopping is in store.
That's absurd for an above average hitter. But like I've said in other posts, it's essentially Monopoly money for all but a handful of teams.
