You ever say something in the heat of passion that you meant but didn't really mean? Hell, I loved 'em all when I was on top of 'em too.

Rodriguez to Bama, Meyer doing his thing at Florida, Spurrier gets his QB he's been needing as a prime time recruit today, things looking really really strong in SEC land.

Offense meets Defense. Should be fun for many years to come.

Circle the Bama game on your schedule for 2007. That officially has just become our toughest game.

I meant when we were looking for a new coach on Christmas Day, 2004, after Saint Nick put coal in our stocking.

You really think CRR makes Alabama a tougher team next year than Auburn or Florida?

If he's going to change the offense, which is highly likely, it'll take time. Time is not something Bammer fans are usually willing to give a new coach. they'll remain a mid tier team next year. If you're looking for a team that'll compete with us like UF and AU do, look to SC in a couple of years, but probably not this coming year. Spurrier's getting some studs from FLA coming into his program, and he knows what to do with them.
