we need to not say anything about UF chances at a national champ. Lets be quiet and wait till Its official. When LSU gets the Rose Bowl then we can pretend and complain how UF and the SEC was robbed!

Does it really matter? The important topic here concerns LSU first and foremost, SEC secondly. We all know the system's screwed beyond the possibilty of being able to be fixed.

I think it actually works out better in the long run, in so far as the arguement goes that the BCS is a flawed system, that UF is left out of the Championship game. There is already talk about how UF should play in the Championship game because the SEC got left out when Auburn went undefeated. If UF gets in the Championship game the arguement is diminished. Consequently, the case for changing the system gains momentum and is more pursuasive if UF gets left out. Seems patently unfair....but such is the system.

Personally, like most, I want desperately to go to the Rose. Hell, we have already paid $1400.00 on a non refundable hotel. So it would seem that as LSU fans we can have our proverbial "cake and eat it too" by tacitly supporting UF, albeit silently for now, and then really beat the drum for change should UF get left out.

Anyway, what a great time for SEC football!!!
