You gotta think the Rose people are a little dissapointed.

They now have USC backing into their Bowl facing a team that they played 2 years ago . Dropping in the polls and taking a big hit.

Losing LSU possibly in the process which was set to bring alot of new dollars .

Now LSU is looking at possibly the Sugar Bowl against Notre Dame . Hard to be dissapointed if your an LSU fan getting to save some money and get a chance at the Irish.

Either way we get to take down someone who has been overrated all year.

The more i think about it i am liking a chance at the Irish.

I would love to see you guys beat the crap out of USC. If not them, then Michigan. I would rather LSU play Michigan than Rutgers/Louisville.Then again, Notre Dame always needs a good old fashioned beat down. Regardless of who you play, I hope ya'll represent the SEC in impressive fashion.

I know a number of people here have been securing flights and hotel rooms, and some even have tickets already or guarantees for tickets. ETC. But is the Rose really going to worry about this when nothing was set in stone yet?

If it comes to it, I just don't see the Rose ignoring the Pac-10/Big-10 relationship with the bowl and choosing LSU over Michigan. Frankly, the only way I see LSU going to the Rose is if Michigan goes to the MNC. Where am I going wrong with this, or am I?

Don't worry, we will. Although it isn't working the way I wanted it to work, I do think that when it comes to who should play OSU, Florida or Michigan, you have my vote as a football fan and SEC fan, but from a purely selfish point of view, I am kind of hoping you don't get the shot. If you don't get the shot, we are almost certainly in the Rose and that is HUGE not just for our school, but even our conference.

as a college football fan id like another team to have a shot at OSU...

as an LSU fan who already laid down non-refundable money to go to the rose bowl.... well then lol.... michigan deserves a rematch.

and....... for putting us in this position in the first place we owe USC an additional kick to the balls greater than the ones we already owe them.

USC better hope we don't get to play them!
