Bingo. Perfect pick, and there are some reports that he's miserable in his current job. THROW HIM A DAN SNYDER-WORTHY CONTRACT (and pray for better results.)
Look for Monken the WR coach to move up. Isn't that what Dinardo did? We wouldn't want to move in a new OC and change the offense.
Thanks. I hadn't read he was unhappy in Tennessee. The only negative regarding Chow is that I've read he has a brillant offensive mind but his personality and communicating with players is a little "rough-around-the-edges."
i would look for jimbo to take 1 or 2 assistants from saban's staff with him depending on where he goes.
Sounds good and all, but what exactly are you going to do with the talented WR's that we have? You can't exactly just forget about them! Besides, ANY SEC team that becomes as one-dimensional on offense as Navy is is DESTINED for failure! ...and you can write that one down.
He doesn't strike me as a coordinator. That perception isn't based on a lot, but he comes across as more of a head coach, especially at this point in his career. I do think he would fare well if given a bigger opportunity, though I thought the same thing about George O'Leary.
