I was banned during basketball season last year by your boy Earle after pointing out the myopic vision of fans complaining about "home cooking".
No disrepsect, but I HAVE spent time here and I don't know TerryP from Adam. I too would like to know where this information coming from or at least how TerryP is in the position to know.
He's the administrator of tidefans.com, FWIW. I'm not exactly sure how that qualifies him beyond being an administrator of a message board, however.
Throughout the years Terry has been right on just about everything. He'll slip you small tips on things to come on Tidefans and is right every time. Wouldn't question him.
Terry has a very strong network of contacts in Alabama, well beyond Tidefans.com. Take it to the bank. When he talks about LSU he's telling what he thinks. When he's talking about Alabama, he's telling you what he knows. Or at least what they are saying. I'm always a little suspicious of players that tell tales of recruiting offers but don't report them to the NCAA so they can be investigated properly. Makes me think the offer just wasn't as big as the one they accepted, you know.
Red, the situation I mentioned happened in the coaches office at Butler. (I know the coach) He responded to it by called Randy Ross (Director of Football Operations) who in turned called your football office. It was reported to the SEC office and LSU told the SEC office about not recruiting the H-ville area for that year anymore (I want to say it was a two year, self imposed restriction on H-ville). Since neither player accepted anything, technically there were no rules broken...
