I think this kid has his biggest game as an LSU Tiger yesterday. The clutch 4th down catch (it was quite impressive) to keep LSU's season alive, much less the game. The incredible acrobatic catch in the endzone to win the game. The key block in the endzone to allow Williams to score. Early will be the leader of our receiver corps next season, so its good to see that it will left in good hands (and no, don't pardon the pun on that one). Looks like the trio of Doucet, LaFell and Holliday might be just a tad bit fun to watch next season.
Early is my favorite receiver. He's not only very versitale, but he's also a class act. I met the guy at a Nicholl's State game not long after he committed to LSU. He was extremely humble and seemed very shocked that I recognized who he was. Great kid.
He sure has made some giant plays so far in his career, although some still think he's an underachiever and will only remember the missed KO. I love the guy, the way he acts, plays, blocks, etc.
He's shown me a LOT more consistancy this year from last year. That, to me, is his biggest accomplishment. But last night was probably his biggest game. Congrats to him! :thumb:
I've always liked Buster Davis--for the past two seasons, he's been our most consisant. But Early and Bowe are beginning to play on a more consistant level this year. Early had a helluva game yesterday!
I like Buster too, he seemed to be the only WR to run after the catch at the start of the season but now they all are getting yards after the catch. I am sure the coaches had something to do with that improvement.
i like bowe and dickson. hell i like all of em. doucet sure did have a helluva game yesterday but i think his most memorable moment will have to be the ASU game last year. that was amazing. possibly the most "unbelievable" moment of my football life. it just happened so fast. hopefully lafell will step up as well as maybe jared mitchell who has atleast been seeeing the field on KRs. if we have a good run game, our pass game will be fine. maybe some of the recruits from this next class will be able to step up as freshman too, that would definitely be appreciated.
