I guess I'm old school, but to paraphrase a famous football quote (Lombardi ??), "Act like you've been there before."

Not many of us old school people left. Team sports have become all about ME ... look mom, I made a tackle, see how great I am!

I was pleased to see Williams toss the ball to the ref, take a quick knee to give thanks, then run off the field after scoring his first (of many) college TD.

We call ourselves old school, the youngsters call us old farts.

Thanks to MTigerV & The Geaux Show I just watched the Les & Jordy highlights show after the game. That's the first thing I noticed when KW scored the TD. No showboating, he acted like he's been there before. It won't be his last visit either. :thumb:

yeah that intimidating style worked great when he got trucked by Tebow..

I don't expect everyone to handle themselves like K Williams when they make a big play, but I do wish they wouldn't act like Miami Hurricanes when they tackle someone.

Is there any chance that Landry knows it will draw attention along the lines of which will make him a star in the NFL?

One of my husband's high school friends is Merton Hanks who played with the 49ers in the mid-late 90's. When Deion Sanders was on the team, he tutored Mert in "showboating 101" (i.e. that crazy chicken dance when he'd make an interception). The next thing Mert knew, he was making $5 a year.

I sometimes think Landry is doing that to impress the folks at the next level.

i love people who talk when they don't know what they're talking about...

DANIELS, not Laron got trucked by Tebow...

Tebow would still be on that stretcher if he went head-on with LaRon
