I have a feeling it'll be loud for this game..... initially anyway. Hope we can take the fans out of the game early with a big play on either side of the ball. A pic 6 would be nice.
Bottom line LSU will win this game because of there defense. Tennessee is not going to be able to move the ball on offense. We wont need to score but 14 points and we will have a victory. 14-10 LSU wins in knoxvegas. Thanks for playing!! :geauxtige
I agree but I hope our offense has a strong showing to go with that "D". I really believe we get things clicking and show how good we really are.
LSU needs to get in the redzone often. Tenn is last in Red Zone defense, allowing 95% TDs or FGs. This will be easier if we can win the field position battle.:geauxtige
We are a spectacular 1 win in twelve attempts in Knoxvegas, and we have had some great football teams fall to mediocre Tennessee teams.A grand total of 5 victories against 20 defeats with 3 ties.I hope we pull this one off,but after last years gift wrapped victory that we let slip away,I wont believe we are going to win until we have won.And if we do happen to win ...we will have tied our longest winning streak in this series ...1.As my dad used to tell me when we were shooting the rock ...I've hit one in a row ...I am hot.
Well, ever since I saw the collective team suicide performed by a vastly-superior LSU team versus a vastly-inferior Florida team on October 9, I'm out of the business of thinking LSU can dominate any ranked team. I just hope LSU keeps the penalties, unforced fumbled kickoffs that result in safeties and/or lost TD opportunities from the opponent's goal-line down to a dull roar. Or, in other words, I'll just take a win. ldskule:
I think a mistake a lot of people are making is listening and believing the hype that LSU is "the most talented team in the country". Our OL and RB corps sucks, and our WR's and QB are vastly overrated. Our LB's are average, and the TE's are hardly used as a unit.
Would anyone be as upset if we didn't continue to hear and believe "LSU is the most talented team in the country/SEC"? Doubt it. Quoting Jimmy Ott: "There have been 2 games where coaching has come into play this year. We lost both." That is what the mindset HAS TO BE if we are 'the most talented team in the country'.
I have to disagree with you about our RBs "sucking"...the OL not playing well has had a major impact on our lack of running game...but if you put our RBs behind a better OL.....you would be hard pressed to say that they suck. I will give you this one though...JV does suck! AB hasn't played the way he is capable of and the frosh RBs KW and CS are going to be great. Don't forget that RM is redshirting this year. Next year if the line improves we will have one of the best RB combos in the nation.....HANDS DOWN!!!!
