Bama certainly has the credentials for the SEC upper tier in the long term and they will be back.

The others will be lower tier, most of the time. Fortunately Arkansas, Vanderbilt and especially Kentucky are an asset to the SEC as basketball schools.

    I agree.

Ohio State and Michigan can easily beat any team in the SEC including LSU,Auburn, and Florida.I am not even sure if SEC elite can even hang in with Wisconsin....

I was checking out the current configurations of conferences as it stands now. I assume you did away with either the WAC or Big West conference to allow 12 teams in each conference?

I don't know much about the whole ND-Big 10 issue, but I suspect if the Big 10 was willing to allows ND to be a non-football member (as it is currently with the Big East), they could work something out.

Of course, the Big 10 should have zero interest in doing this, just as all of the $$$ NBC throws at ND and the preferrential treatment given ND by the BCS should give ND zero interest in changing the status quo as well.

You Big 10 types should set your sites elsewhere. Iowa St. seems like a good place to start, IMO.

I can tell your a smart one. I live in the northeast as I assume you do as well so I am forced to watch Big 11 football on occasion. Im sure you posted that comment to stir up the message board so I am going to give you my take on the Big 11. Ohio St. is pretty good and is probably one of the top 3 teams in the country. Michigan, on the other hand is the most overated team in the country. They have benefited from the SEC beating up on each other. Michigan barely got past Penn State which is not very good at all this year. Penn State would finish in the bottom fourth of the SEC this year and I would bet all the money I have on this. Wisconsin is 7-1 this year but have you looked at their tough schedule. If you have looked at their schedule then you know it is a joke. Michigan's schedule is a joke. Why dont you go ahead and looked at Ohio St's schedule while your at it. Really tough. Makes it real easy on a team when youve only got to get up for one or possibly two games a year. What I am trying to tell you is dont post your Big 11 crap on here because nobody that reads this message board is gonna believe you plus you already have no credibility. What you can do for me is tell me what you guys have done to all of the pretty girls up here. Are you hiding them somewhere?

Come on, tell me where yall are hiding those girls.

Would love to see some of the things mentioned here for a Conference championship for all. It would be a great weekend.
