1. Football - Wendell Davis
    Baseball - Todd Walker
    Basketball - Ricky Blanton
  2. Hard to pick one over the many because I loved the excitement that so many have brought to the game. I like defense and big hits but, based on nastalgia of being a kid and pretending I was him when playing in the neighborhood while my father was in Law School at LSU................Bert Jones
    Our All-American QB in 1972.
  3. Tommy Banks!

I still wish they would give it to him more often.
  4. Kevin Faulk on Offense

    Marcus Spears on Defense

    Brandon Larson in Baseball

    Glen Davis in Basketball

  5. Damn right.

I saw him play MANY TIMES @ .

Dude was freak genius tornado manic-child artist with the rock.

    There will never be another.
  6. I suppose favorite players are a product of your age, so mine would certainly be Dalton Hilliard. The ol "Dalton-James Gang". Those guys just flat out got it done and Dalton went on to have a great career with the Saints as well. Maybe before LSU got into the "big-time" but sure was great to watch him run!

    :helmet:
  7. Generally agreed, but I watched all of the above, too.

    The Pistol was known internationally.

The only LSU! guy that is close is The Daddy.

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned him yet.

Pete was a freak of nature, both physically and mentally.

He saw the court like few before him or since have.

Plus, he was creatively inventive and just plain entertaining.
  8. Geert Hammink and Joey Belle.
  9. Shaq
  10. Basketball - Chris Jackson - What a player! Still can't believe he couldn't cut it in the NBA:nope:
    Football - Dalton Hilliard
    Baseball - Big Ben McDonald
