USM has always had a killer non-conf. schedule. When Farve was there, they knocked of #6 Florida St. I believe they beat Alabama twice as well. This was when Ole Miss and Miss St used to play USM, and USM would spank them almost every year. So, they had games against some pretty solid teams. That's what got Curley Hallman recognized nationally, much to LSU's future lament. As a matter of fact, according to this website http://www.jhowell.net/cf/cfindex.htm, USM's strength of schedule was harder than LSU's during Favres Senior Year. He played this year after a near fatal car crash in which he had to have 30 inches of intestine removed. Six weeks after surgery he led a comeback against Alabama for the win.
I mostly lurk now once a week or so. Sorry i miss alot of stuff. its a time thing. for what it's worth I think JR REALLY matured this last year. He grew up in the saddle big time. He'll do fine, proud he was a Tiger. he finally lived up to all the hype. Kudos my man, forever a JR fan. thanks for all your prayers! They are working. My daughter got an Apartment just last week and is saving for a car. meanwhile we are helping her get around. things are definately improving. I'm sorta helping her look for cars in my spare time. I havent been away because of this place, I miss it here! Just been really really busy. I had minor surgery so I was out a week for that. and then there is this racing thing, it's like the mafia it is all encompassing, dominates your time. hey I did get to listen to the Tigers beat Miss St. today on the radio as I was driving to Longview TX. If your in the lonvgview area, holler at me lol. AND for everyone going to the MOO U game, get ready we're gonna tailgate!
