A lesson kids on not to pick user names based on current events.
  2. I was thinking the same thing...
  3. The guy had an unbelievable freshman year. He's been an unbelievable asset to the LSU Tiger football team. The kid plays where ever his coaches tell him to play without running his mouth, ever.

Yeah, he might not be a Heisman candidate anymore, but I still can't say a bad word about him because of his loyalty and his dedication to LSU.

I really wish he could get over whatever hump he's got to get over to get back to his 2003, explosive self.
  4. Everything you're saying is true, and I think most here agree with you. All the posts indicate a strong liking for the guy too, and nobdy takes away from what he did in '03, hell, I bought my daughter his Jersey in '03- that's how much I like him.

The responses are just saying we hope his production needs to improve (whatever the reason, mental, physical, O line)- or someone else needs to get the ball- with exclusion of O line being the problem. To me Scott, the few touches he has had, runs hard, Hester too. Keiland is going to make some mouths drop too. I was told from one of his high school coach's wive's I work with, that he is still learning the system- as everyone already knows.

    Through 3 games:

Justin Vincent 22 carries for 68yds for an av. of 3.1
Alley Broussard 26 carries for 92yds for an av. of 3.5
Charles Scott 9 carries for 86yds for an av. of 9.6
Jacob Hester 19 carries for 70 yds for an av. of 3.7

And I know numbers can be deceiving, and UL is no AU but Scott is hungrier and runs over defenders. Hester doesn't mind lowering his head and puttin' the hurt either.
  5. I truly believe that because of their knee injuries they are both about 25 pounds over weight. mabe as the season goes along they will shed a few pounds and get back to form.
  6. When we finally do have a good running back we have a coach that either uses him till he hurts the HB or under utilizes him. Dinardo-Kevin Faulk

I still think we are suffering from when God gave us Cecil Collins and then took him so abruptly. (and put him in jail). The Collins curse.

And for JV. After NC game, he spent the next two years in Tigerland sippin on Tom Collins and hittin on sorority girls. That something that I witnessed. I'm kinda jealous.
