as far as your (several tiger fans) bashing of stoops' - i dont know how they were brought into this thread but i woulnt trade him for miles... so the feeling is mutual

and OU (in most people's accounts) got screwed much worse than you guys last saturday. furthermore, i seriously doubt any of you have even heard bob speak on the subject of the oregon game. Is he supposed to refuse questions concerning the event from the media?

OU and LSU both got screwed and both had a chance to win later in the game but neither could do it. I would not say OU got the worst out of it, but it doesn't even matter anymore. It Blows. End of story. Problem is that LSU will most likely win out the season and we will ocntinue to hear the same ole same ole for 12 more weeks.

The comment on intercepting the pass. That's dumb. If you are going to comment, at least put something that we can comment on. Baby blabble is not an intelligent remark.

 

Unfortunately, this little thing called a job keeps us in Oklahoma. And there isn't a possibilty of a transfer. Trust us, we've tried! And we are going back to civilazation this weekend. Too bad it's only for a long weekend.

And if one is in Oklahoma, all you hear is Stoops whining on the TV. And yes, is should refuse questions about the game. Stoops should concentrate on the upcoming game and let Castiglione handle the Oregon issue. And be thankful that he got an apology.

And this is an honest - not bashing - assessment. I have heard people in Oklahoma that are OU fans say Stoops should let it go now. He made his case, he got an apology, and should move on. He is losing the sympathy he had from a lot of people by his continued actions.

 

If you mean by getting more media attention Oklahoma "got it worse" than you are right. It was more blatant just because the game seemed to culminate with that call and then Sportscenter took and ran with it...

Whereas our call was equally BS, equally affected the game, but wasn't as easy to make a conspiracy theory out of it...

 

To judge by his recruiting ability I think he will end up being a great coach. However, I do remember that DiDardo looked great for his first couple of years before his program collapsed, so I guess we won't really know for sure until another year or two. But what I have seen so far, I like.
