I'm not going to read any more posts criticizing Fisher unless it is accompanied by the poster's coaching resume. Bring on the red, babies.
Well you probably will want to skip most threads on this board. I thought we would show more creativity...where was the reverse to Trindon? But I truly believe that Miles didn't want any of the freshmen to play.
Miles said after the game he felt the right plays were called on offensive to put the kids in a position to do something, but the execution was not there. I am not blaming Fisher or Miles for this one......we need a running game if we are going to use our receivers effectively
You know, all game long we lined up and faked this play. After about the third time we did it they did not even pay attention to the man in motion. I was begging the to give the little guy or even Doucet the ball on this play.
Good idea SF. We need to stop complimenting CJF too. We don't know what we're talking about when we think we see "good play calling." In fact, we shouldn't talk about our offense at all because we're unqualified to do so. We don't know how the game of football works.
It also could come down to we got beat by a better team? Get over the loss................we still have a special team. We shall get better, we will win some big games, and as much as it pains me give Auburnt some credit.
If we are going to win a majority of our games.... Bring on Tulame and Miss St, We need practice running the ball.
Run the table...then we can all be happy. I applaud the players on both sides. Extremely physical (a little too much with some of the late hits) but overall it was a clean game. Auburn did what they had to do to win...we had our chances and didn't capitalize. We score off the interception and it is a different game. Sure it is hard playing officials too but we missed a few shots ourseves.
