If LSU loses but then goes undefeated, I would expect something along the lines of the Peach bowl or maybe the Capitol One.
i'm thinking we would have a shot at a BCS at large....especially because they have 5 games.... ...on another note.... when simming a season of NCAA 07 for Xbox 360....:thumb: I (LSU) lost to Auburn and finished 11-1..they finshed 12-0..my ranking before the championship games was like 3 or 4....an auburn loss in the SECCG and some other big loss shot me in the NC game....anythings possible.... but i think if we go 11-1 with a loss at Auburn we make a BCS bowl.
I don't know if a SEC team has ever played in a BCS bowl unless they won the SEC championship game. LSU is not enough of a media darling to get an at large bid in my opinion.
im not sure if it ever has happened, however, if we lose in week 3 we will jump over anyone who loses after us, thus increasing our poll position. Kind of like 2003. Make it high enough and wha-la...at large bid...
I guess anything's possible. For example, I shot a 45 on Tiger Woods Golf on xbox. I then decimated the field at the masters by 58 strokes. That was right before I killed three cops and wrecked over 2 million dollars worth of cars in five minutes playing GTA.
thats why i simmed the season. Anyone can play the games and go undefeated. I was just bringing up a possible REALISTIC scenerio and how it would work out
all sarcasm aside, it actually is. and before you go bashing it, it's not built around espn/si. ESPN just has a marketing deal with EA Sports. The only ESPN concept in the game is the ticker and maybe the score/clock display. There's no "Sportscenter" show. Theres no "College Gameday." SI isn't even in the game anymore. Many people use rivals.com as their source for recruiting info. Guess what, the Rivals guys helped EA design the recruiting system from the ground up. So please research the facts before you make blind assumptions.
