I am jealous of you guys who get to be close to LSU. The internet is my only way to keep in touch. Living in California and the bay area they dont cover LSU it is all Cal and Stanford with a little USC mixed in . Damn i hate the Pac 10. College football just isnt covered as much out here with so many pro teams around. I practically live at my computer during football season. I have a TV right above my computer. In the long run it doesnt matter if he can name the players just that he pulls for the team and enjoys the experience. Even though i am far away i still get goosebumps when i play the fight song and i wouldnt trade being an LSU fan for anything. Win or Lose , Sunshine or rain , till death do us part.
Correct, these youngster don't know that there was a time when you only had the Advocate or TigerRag. Serious LSU fan info on the internet has only been around since '96 or '97, or even later. Why, I recall walking barefoot ten miles through heat & humidity for a TigerRag...
That was me, I was at the Vanderbilt game in '91. Official attendance was about 64,000. There might have been 40,000 in Tiger Stadium in the 3rd qrtr, and we needed late heroics to beat the 'Dores 16-14. The dark times were upon us....:sob:
Did he become a fan at the END of the 03 season? That is the one thing that gives me a HUGE case of the redass!!! First game of 04 and there were so MANY DAMN BAndwagon fans on the parade grounds tailgating I thought I was gonna have to use my bowstaff skills to beat some heads in. There is a special place in HELL reserved for Bandwagon Fans and it is right next door to Ole Miss Nation!:thumb:
