smoke had some success with Skips talent. Now that smoke has some ULM players on the team things are getting ugly. Also Rice is known as a baseball powerhouse (kinda like LSU used to be) players want to go to Rice.
If the fans want Smoke gone they should email Skip directly. The direct emails would make a bigger impact. If I were Skip Dandy' little poll would just piss me off.
Why the hell would it piss him off? He makes at least 5-6 times more than any of us, and he is in DIRECT control of the program, not the other way around. If anything he should be pissing us off.
In addition, Skip knows LSU fans... he's only been around them for what? 20+ years? He knows that they want results immediately and if they don't get them, well then he knows that the coach's head will be called for... it's just how Louisianians are. We learned it from our politicians... It's the reason why Huey P. Long was both one of the greatest and worst govs. of our state. It is possible to garner results without having to resort to firing your head coach. Sometimes it is the simplest things that need to be fixed in order for your team to succeed to its full potential. I'm just trying to play Devil's Advocate here...
Not that I agree with that logic, but if it were true, it would matter who the coach is if he can bring in better players.
