Did we do enough to get into the NCAAs next week? Remember we took 3 of 4 from a GOOD bama team split w/Tulane took 2 of 3 from a good Arkansas squad Top 8 in the SEC, which is always normally an NCAA watermark
I think we are on the cusp of making it. We may need one more win in the SEC Tournement. If we get in we may host.
I think we were in before the game last night, but that win sealed it. I think all 8 teams are in and probably MSU as well. The question is ... do we have a shot at hosting a regional?
I agree with what someone said in another thread, that the NCAA will make excuses to get us to be a host site.
LSU will host a regional... you can bet on that... Plus, the boy's aren't finished yet. We get to play Ole Piss tonight! However, if we do lose tonight, and again whenever... we still host. We may be the four seed, but we'll still host.
I guess I'm a little more optimistic. I believe we're already in the NCAA's, but if we are to have ANY shot at hosting, we have to win AT LEAST twice--maybe even three times. IMO, if we don't advance any further than what we already have (in the SEC), then we don't host. And if we only win tonight, then I believe it all depends on which post-season teams out there place a bid to host if we are to be granted as a host site. Personal note: SupaFan, if we win tonight and advance to Saturday, where you planning on watching the game?
