I have had one bumper sticker on my truck forever. It is small (4 x 6") and looks like this -- LSU!

I dislike diplaying my politics and personal causes on the vehicle -- too gaudy. Just a simple support for my school.

    But if I did:

Another great idea from La. politicans. Spend $1.5 billion on a plant when no one knows if ethanol will be the dominant alternative fuel.

Besides, it takes gas and oil to even make ethanol. Almost as much to make it as it saves. Ethanol, unless from wheatgrass isn't an alternative, IMO. There's a companyf rom Canada who has a process to make fuel from wheatgrass that uses no oil or gas to complete the process. Now that is an alternative fuel.

i heard about the cow dung/methanol alternative. there's actually entire cities being powered by such a thing although its currently more expensive than regular power due to its infancy.

fill 'er up with 100 lbs of your finest sounds good to me. not sure how clean it burns or even if it can be adapted to cars. i just like the thought of it.

I saw this one one day in the parking lot next to my old apartment. I thought it was rather funny. [IMG]

$0.00. Every '99 Ford Ranger equipped with the 3.0L will run on E85 ethanol. I thought it was worthless in '99 when I bought, but from everything I've read, in Wisconsin, Illinois, and Minnesota where is most readily available, it averages between $.20 and $.60 cheaper per gallon than regular unleaded. With my company soon to relocate (30 miles from my house), that's a huge difference.

How does someone find out if their vehicle runs on the stuff? Would they have know when they bought it?

At the time I bought mine, I was a mechanic at the Ford dealership, so I kinda had some inside info. Lots of newer vehicles are being built to run on it now. What kind of car/truck do you have?
