So barring a miracle from Nova, looks like we have TWO SEC teams in the Final Four and NO Big East teams :thumb:

Is it a bigger story that there are no ACC teams?

It's now eight straight years that a conference has gotten two teams in the Final Four... welcome to the club! Notice which conference is missing????

    2006...LSU, Florida
    2005...Illinois, MSU
    2004...Duke, Georgia Tech
    2003...Texas, Kansas,
    2002...Kansas, Oklahoma
    2001...Duke, Maryland
    2000...MSU, Wisconsin
    1999...MSU, Ohio St

It is a down year for the SEC, we only have 50% of the Final Four teams. What a shame and embarassment for the league. Ought to consider dropping basketball all together.

The whole reason for the whole "SEC down year" thing is because so many big names went in the draft last year. The tourney this year just shows how tough the SEC really is.

Such an awful year, I agree!
The SEC is the greatest conference in collegiate sports!
