Its not something you put in for 1 week. Which is why every team did not play it. Come on use some sense.
well obviously all teams can play multiple defenses, and id bet all can play some zone. LSU plays a little zone and they are athletic as hell. your point must then specifically be about the 2-3 as opposed to other zones. i think most teams can (and do) play a 2-3 some time during the season. i think its less effective than you think. mostly thats because Os will get better against it over time. most teams mix up Ds through the course of the game. LSU sure looked good in the first half against a UF zone. not sure if it was a 2-3, maybe 1-3-1.
