Hmmmm.... if this is your standard (to echo another poster before), why are you a LSU basketball fan at all? You realize LSU has NEVER won a championship in basketball in the modern era, right? And, probably 95% of Division 1-A coaches have not either. So, many things have to go into winning national championships, the least being great recruiting (and I mean top 10 classes year in and year out), luck in the draw, good leadership on the team, good coaching and school completely devoted to the sport. Only Tubby in the SEC has won one, and look at the resources he has at Kentucky. It's ludicrous to hold Brady to this standard, when LSU isn't even "a basketball school." I think most people on this board would be happy with LSU competing for the SEC championship every year. National championship? Never done it and shouldn't expect it, unless a whole lot more $ and energy is devoted to it--not to mention LSU will need better bball fans than this.
Why? The stats at another college doesn't compare to the competition in the SEC so it doesn't matter.
Kjunsausage, You and whomever else thinks negatively about the team this year are a bunch of morons who like to aggrevate just for the sake of aggrevating. The tigers could lose early or very early in the tourney or vice-verca. I would be pissed if they lost to Iona, believe me, but they have had a hell of a year with Bass and the VERY young team they have now. If they do get to the S16 or G8 or F4, Im sure you will have some kind of dumb ass comments and you will probably, hopefully suck up and admit you were wrong. If they do lose, I do not think I will even bother reading you posts therafter. (Probably will though.) Have faith in the tigers and be a fan no matter what, if you really love the school.
Because you aren't true LSU fans and enjoy anything. It's never good enough for you. They win the SEC title and you say why not the SECT title? If LSU gets to the Sweet 16 and beyond, you'll still be bitching about something else. Nothing is ever good enough for you when it comes to this team. With that, welcome to my ignore list.
But I can see why having negative and possitive feedback on a Forum board be a better thing as far as having more visitors and thread starters, which I guess is cool.
guys you epitomize the new breed of tiger basketball fan. acceptance of mediocrity. this was once a proud program where just making it in the final field of 64 wasnt good enough. now its ok to get bounced in the first two rounds because we are young every year. lsu deserves better than brady. our fans deserve better than brady. winning the regular season title is great then you get shelacked by the sec tourney champ twice. well who is the real sec champs? btw once a decade desrves another right? i thought so.
