The other coach said it wasn't earned because they quit plaing defense in the second half. How do you call yourself a coach and tell your team to quit? I'd run his ass out...
That is ridiculous. That girl had no reason for being in this game late. If I am a player on the opposing team I'm mad and I foul the hell out of the girl in the second half to show their coach they better put her on the bench or she might not make it to the next game without an injury.
rutgers is making some strides... their womens team was always good... their mens team is playing very well this year.. and their football team had the big season and almost beat asu in the bowl... they're comin up
when leslie did that her team was up 103 to 2. The other teams coach told his team to stay in the locker room and he went to the floor and procceeded to beat the sh*t out of leslies coach.
...and if I'm your coach I'd snatch you up by the panties and send your ass to the showers for the rest of the season...
I never said I was deliberately trying to injure her. Just sending a message. No need for the coach to keep her in and embarassing the other team.
Girl's high school scoring record I was in New York yesterday and the sports talk radio was all over some girl setting the high school single game scoring record. They interviewed the opposing coach, who said, "I thought their decision to press us the second half was a little over the top. They were ahead by 80 points." from the wire services: "Epiphanny Prince, a 5-foot-9 senior, shattered the national high school girls basketball scoring record yesterday with an incredible 113 points as Manhattan's Murry Bergtraum routed Louis Brandeis 137-32. The previous record of 105 points was set by Cheryl Miller of Riverside Poly in 1982. Lisa Leslie also topped the century mark with 101 for Inglewood Morningside in 1990." She scored 38 points in the first quarter, 20 in the second, 25 in the third and 30 in the fourth, mostly on lay-ups.
