Ok Firefox guys here is the firefox link. I'm posting it now because I'm sure that its a good extension. Keep in mind a few tools might not work but they'll be fixed in future updates. I like the firefox version. Firefox overlays and graphics are just so much more attractive than IE's. http://www.collegetoolbars.com/lsu/install.html Thanks to you Firefox fans because of all the requests in this thread I was allotted the time to develop the working firefox extension.
Still can't change the color of the tool or change the font and font size. HEre is what I had originally pm'd you: Also when I click on Tools -> Customization Options, I get an error message that pops up: Alert TypeError:document.all has no properties Maybe this has something to do with the problems changing colors and fonts. After I click "OK" on the error, the Configuration page loads in the browser as mentioned in previous PM. Just giving you as much feedback as possible as ya develop this version for firefox.
Hey LSUGradin99. Hey man sorry I must've not responded to that PM. Yeah thats a javascript error and not so big a deal. I'm just going to have to fix that for the firefox bulid when I can. Microsoft and Mozilla tend to disagree on certain document object things. It won't hurt anything but for now changing fonts and colors will be not happening. I did get and read your PM's though and seriously appreciate the feedback.
I finally downloaded the LSU toolbar! Its great on IE, want to download it for Firefox but it wont let me.
When you click on the "firefox version" do you see a drop at the top of the browser that says?: "To protect your computer, firefox prevented this site(www.collegetoolbars.com) from installing software on this computer." With an "Edit Options" button to the right of it. If so then click on the edit options button and click allow so that college toolbars can install the toolbar. Click "firefox version" again and it should install. Firefox makes you go through the extra little click pattern to install things but I think its worth it for security. If you've done that or you just click and nothing happens then maybe you have Javascript disabled? Javascript is required for the install. If not that then what version of Firefox are you using. Version 1 or better is required and if you've installed Firefox in the last year and a half you're good. Other than that email me a description of the problem. [email protected] Thanks for using.
