1. I agree 100%. I think ticket prices will see a hike every other year especially when Lsu football is continuing to be successful. I have no problem with it but when it cost me as much for season tickets as my son's private school that is when I will upgrade my tv and watch games from home.
  2. It really does suck. A couple more of these increases and I won't be able to afford it anymore either. I think they will definitely start running people out of Tiger Stadium. I know it cost to run a top notch program, but if we don't keep filling the stadium it won't be top notch anymore.

  3. My problem is Bertman using the hurricanes as an excuse to raise the prices, what BS. This guy is a joke. I mean how much is enough?
A lot has been put into this big Miami win, considering I'd much rather have an SEC title. We'll see how Miles pans out, i still think he's over his head, just MO.
  4. We have a 10 year contract with Tulane that states we'll play in the Dome every other year. That means there will only be 7 home games in odd numbered years during the next 10 years.
  5. I sat down last night and figured if they have two more price increases beyond the increase of cost of living, I will have to stop buying. You have to make decisions, your son's private school, nice home, nice cars, or 8 lsu home football games(2 maybe 3 good games out of 7).
  6. I'll pay it. I work so that I can afford to do the things I like. LSU football is one of them. Other top-tier SEC schools have comparable prices, it's not a rip-off. I wish it were cheaper . . . but it ain't.

    So, I'll pay it.
  7. Hey Red, not everyone is Rich like you.:hihi:

  8. Easy choice. LSU!

  9. amen! I just do not want to pay more than my son's private school tuition to attend games.
  10. LSU is no different than any other institution. In order to maintain the facilities, you have to spend money and in order to do that, you have to regulate prices. I work for the US Postal Service where you can send a letter to another state for less than fifty cents and they were still pissed because the price of a stamp went up 2 cents. I look at it this way. I don't splurge on things, I make sure my son has what he needs/wants, and that his college of choice (or mine) is LSU next year. I work my tail off everyday with little time off, therefore, if the only thing that I spend money on for myself is the pure pleasure I get from watching my favorite team win, then it's worth it for me. We'll all fuss, but we'll all find a way to cut back and still pay for what we enjoy the most. I can't imagine not doing it!
