1. WVU is a good but far from great team. They will lose 2 games next year
  2. Bengal Buddy, there is no way we go 8-4 next year. This team will be very good and will win at least 9 games.
  3. Agreed. Texas is still very strong, even without VY. No reason to think A&M won't be improved, T Tech is a perennial 8 game winner (or more) and Nebraska looks resurgent (finally) in the North.

Very little to suggest OU rolling to another Big XII title the way they did in 2004 (or nearly did in 2003). They may not win their own division.

Speaking of favorites, I'd put LSU and AU neck and neck as favorites in the SEC, with Florida a reasonable third. Why Fla? Odds are Chris Leak makes a leap in 2006: senior QB in the second year in the new system, plus Fla. always being loaded with great athletes.

Nationally, it's hard to spell out a top 5 without having easy access to 2006 schedules. Schedule works against LSU, but surely it works for other teams.

On the other hand, Purdue fans can tell you that having a sweet schedule (as they did in 2005) alone doesn't mean you're gonna win much.
  4. There's that word "bidness" again. Be careful using that word, Randy!..lol
