Based on my knowledge of society and experiences with people that have everything to lose if they break the rules. Again, I am not so foolish as to think that there isn't some drug use taking place within a schools program. You are very foolish to think that it is wide spread. Just because you, your friends, and the people you choose to associate with do these things, does not mean that the majority or even close to the majority are guilty of them as well. But, if this helps you to sleep better at night, go ahead believing it.

It might be a common thing, but I'm with saltyone in thinking that this doesn't make it a good, or right thing.

So, does that affect his decision (assuming he doesn't have serious legal troubles from this) to either stay in school, or go to the NFL? I don't think he'll be a first round pick now.

im not one of the 10% though. i have never touched the stuff, but after living in broussard hall for 4 years i know that it goes on a lot. it changes a bit with each coaching staff, so it may be more under control, but its very common in the black culture--that's not going to change anytime soon.

that being said, its pretty damn common in portland, too. and there aint too many blacks up here.

Yeah, Parso is right. When I was at LSU in the beginning of the year there was one player that I walked by multiple times who reaked of weed. It's all over the place though, every high school or college I've been at.

So, based off of nothing but your perceptions, which are based on nothing. Because you've never been friends with an athlete or been in that crowd... right?

Well, some of us here have. That makes us the intelligent ones - we are basing our opinions off of something. Unlike you.

I never attempted to justify marijuana by saying everyone did it. Lots of athletes do it - that's just a fact. I didn't have to make anything up.
