what are you talking about? i've never been a leinart proponent for the NFL. I always said hes too slow-footed to be succesful there. the fact he knows to check down and make the correct throws is what mattered though I just dont think hes gonna be anything special after tonight. how many of young's throws were the same? pretty much all of em. you take what they give you.

its foolish to argue how he got there instead of seeing he was effective as hell. let's do the same with peyton's stats and try to diminish his as well since he has a ton the same way.

its ok to be blind by your dislike for the dude just realize it once I point it out. i mean i hate USC so much I actually pulled for the teasips. i never thought that day could happen.

sorry but leinart had an excellent game dude no matter how you slice it.

ok no more caffeine for me.

NFL wise, I would still take Matt over Vince

We are all feeling like $10 whores tonight. I just hope, over time, this dirty feeling will go away. You know what they say, time heels all wounds.

There is no way Young is chosen before Lienart!

Sorry for yelling but it needed to be said with umph. Young is a freak in college but will not have a tremendously successful pro career. Lienart could be in the Pro Bowl every year. You don't necessarily have to have a canon and 4.6 speed to be a good pro QB. It takes that special intagible that Lienart obviously has. He'll be a Tom Brady--bank on it.

Now I see. I think you have me wrong. I hate the bastard. I really do. But, if I'm a pro team I want him. Kid is just good. 2 losses as a starter. Both were very close. It's not like he can rely on his defense to win games for him either:hihi: . (Did anyone see his interview in the locker room after the game. What a friggin baby. All that ABC/ESPN love that you speak of has gotten to his head. I don't think he really ever imagined losing again for the rest of his life. Stupid bastard:grin: .)

Matt Leinart is a prototype NFL QB when Vince Young is a prototype college QB. Unless the game change a lot in the next few year, there is no way that Vince Young will go ahead of Matt Leinart.

If I was a pro team (especailly a terrible one) I'd take Vince Young over Leinart in a second. Vince Young passes just as good as he runs and he's 100X tougher to tackle than 95% of all QBs. I can't say Leinart does one thing totally superior to Young. Don't get me wrong, I'd consider drafting Leinart too, because he's a great player, but not before Young.

The excitement he brings to a team is worth the pick because he will put fans in the seats even if they're not winning. The NFL is a money-making game for owners along with wanting to win. I can't say Leinart will immediately put fans in the seats.
