if reggie bush goes down in the first minute of the game then they might put up 28 but other than that i cant see USC only scoring 28 points. I think USC is a great offensive team but i dont think that they are great. I think they avoided a lot of losses this yr and i believe Texas will bring it to them and beat usc by more then 10.
i also dont want USC being worshipped for the "3-Pete". I really hopes Texas smokes them and shuts up their arregant team.
texas has a defense....will they stop usc....well no but they dont have to stop them completely......Usc on the other hand has no defense....i dont care what they say......if anything i see texas being able to win this one by two touchdowns or more......go horns....this is the one and only time i will ever cheer for texas!
actually USC's defensive stats are very skewed due to USC's backups playing much of the 2nd half in a lot of games. Everyone saw the Fresno game which is imbedded in their minds but that's not the typical USC team. they actually have a solid front 7 with quite a few draft picks that can hold their own though VY will be a huge test as is for anyone. UT has the size and speed on defense that may surprise petey & the bathouse boys so i think this game rests on Leinart's hands, literally. jarrett could have a big game due to too much attention given to bush. i think the shorthorns win this one since i most always lean to the better defensive side and UT may actually be able to keep this great offense in check to some extent. if they hold lendale to limited yards on first down it could be a tough day for leinart & co. not to mention, UT averages 10 yards on first down when vince young is in the game. either way i think its gonna be a good one.
