defence is not the key to beating USC. teams that keep up with USC come close. Texas will keep up with USC, the overtake them in the 4th quarter. Texas: 56 USC: 42
As for a high scoring game, lots of folks seem to agree with you (both media and fans) from what I can see. If they put up 100 between them, when will the game be over ? Sometime Friday maybe ? I'd better stop on the way home and lay in some more provisions (beer).:hihi:
I'd be very surprised if USC beat Texas like they did to OU. As LSU, Ohio State, Penn State and WV saw, a faster QB definitely makes a big impact on drives that normally would go nowhere. Not saying Flynn was the only reason for our success, but a nice part of it. OU had a QB who had no legs and was beat up. White said the team quit early and that the team was falling apart going into that game. What was behind that I have no idea. Anyway, Texas will need to bring it all to beat USC, and they can. Vince Young is awesome and there's plenty more awesome talent on that team that no one talks about. Young will do some damage to that defense. The question is if Texas can stop USC on offense. We'll see. I'm betting it will be a much better game than last year.
