No kidding. Just because Welker isn't on scholarship doesn't mean that we have to put a scholarship player under center in the event that Flynn goes down. There's no rule that states you HAVE to play a scholarship player. Welker is a QB on the roster. Can throw the ball--obviously, otherwise he wouldn't even be listed as a QB...and you've GOT to assume that he's been in QB meetings throughout the entire season...
