Some people seem pretty sure that the walk-on QB is 4th, behind Skyler Green and Chris Jackson.

    Apparently Jimbo is saying otherwise...

    Think about it...

how many hours has Chris or Skyler put into studying the QB playbook?

I've met Green, and he's actually about 5'6-5'7, but he's built like a ROCK.

No kidding. Just because Welker isn't on scholarship doesn't mean that we have to put a scholarship player under center in the event that Flynn goes down. There's no rule that states you HAVE to play a scholarship player.

Welker is a QB on the roster. Can throw the ball--obviously, otherwise he wouldn't even be listed as a QB...and you've GOT to assume that he's been in QB meetings throughout the entire season...
