I dont think that our recruiting class will turn either way depending on the outcome of our bowl game. But i do think it is a big game in regard to how the fans look at this program.

I think that a win does alot for the attitude of the LSU Tiger nation and puts a positive spin on a good season and looking forward to a good recruiting class. I cant speak for the rest but the whole offseason last year was hard because of the way we lost against Iowa and losing our coach.

11-2 coming off a good win against Miami goes a long way to making my offseason a happy one.

A loss and we still had a good year and i still think we have a good recruiting class . It just will suck having a loss in the last game and 10-3 just doesnt look as good as 11-2.

I hope the Tigers come out and compete and play like i know they can. We get a few breaks that have been going against us lately.

I believe this team is going to play well in the bowl and it is one of the better bowl games of the whole year.

Winning it would definately help a little in the players that have it down to LSU-Miami for their services.

Meh. I think a win against Miami would look good for recruiting in the Florida area with all the high school talent around here.

Nobody remembers bowl games, unless they're really, really ugly, IMO.

A win will certainly help our image. Miami already has the image as a "National Power". A win over the 'Canes will solidify, in the eyes of outsiders, our stance as a top contender.

As far as recruiting goes, as long as it isn't a blow-out either way it probably won't make a difference.

However, for our program's sake a win would go a long ways...

I think if we do win this game big, our recruiting class will definitely benefit, and we will probably have a higher preseason ranking.

LSU! Listened to a Lafayette radion station today and the way one football anaylist sees it the Tigers will be challenged to the max in this bowl game and that Miami should win if they dont make too many mistakes. Miami was described as having as much or more team speed than LSU will have seen all year. From what i could gather from this interview on the Lafayette radion station LSU will hard pressed to win this game. I think that they have already writtten the tigers off for this game unless Miami just self destructs. It was also mentioned that if LSU is not carefull this game could turn into a rout like the Georgia game.

I agree it is a big game. Is LSU a major player and among the elite in college football? If we play like we did against UG it will be a runaway in Miami's favor and possibly affect some recruits.
