This isn't true. Flynn does do some things better, but not enough things because JR is still better overrall.
How do I know? Simple. Matt Flynn is Matt Flynn. He will never be able to be Matt Mauck. He will be his own QB. I hope Flynn leads us to victory in the bowl game because I want to win, but I resent the comparision to Mauck that some Tiger fans make on message boards because it isn't the same thing. Which is why I said Flynn will never be Matt Mauck.
Fair enough. I thought you were meaning he'll never be Mauck from a success standpoint rather than QB to QB.
No, he very well could be as successful as Mauck. My personal opinion, however, is that he is the third best QB on the team at the moment, which is sad for him because he had the guts to come in and compete when he knew JR was coming in, unlike Robert Lane.
From what I've seen, I'd say that MF is better at hitting receivers in stride. That's the main thing.
