It just seems like everyone has been writing off WVU ever since word came about that they would be the likely at-large bid for the Sugar Bowl. Tiger fans were acting like the game would be a joke if we had to play them, and I never once thought that was the case. They've played a lot of Thursday night games this year, so I've gotten to see them a good bit. And let me tell ya, that team really has it's act together. You mess around and let up the slightest bit and they will kill you. They are fast, physical, and very well-coached. I realize the same can be said for the pups, but most people lack that perception of a team from the Big Least. I just don't see this game being a gimme for the pups one bit, and would not be surprised (and would be somewhat elated) if they pulled it out.

Richt lost to Boston College in his first year, not Maryland. and that was awful because we just made a ton of mistakes....i don't think UGA will overlook WV, richt and rodriguez know each other from Florida state pretty well. In the dome, there will be a huge crowd noise advantage. WV has only played VT, thats their only big time team.you dont go 10-2 in the SEC and not be any good....come on seriously Georgia wins be it by 3 or 30, but we still win. richt hasnt lost a non conference game since 2001

Florida does play bad in bowl games, but i still think they win
    Scarolina rolls big time
    Auburn rolls big time
LSU-thug U......thats the best bowl game the sec is paired in, hard to call
I hope you LSU fans travel to this one...miami fans bring
nothing...you could have a big impact with crowd noise
    Bama wins
    5-1 or 6-0

Hate to say it, but I'm guessing 4-2 with Bama and us losing. Miami always seems to find a way to win the down to the wire games it seems, but I hope i'm wrong.

So, for the record, I say 3-3.

spread option is what meyer runs which is 90% shotgun.

power option is rich rodriguez and its run a lot from under center.

both depend on the speed and smarts of the qb (rasheed wallace/alex smith) although the spread option allows the qb more time to make the right reads (if he can) making it more effective with the right personnel.

and yes, i do think WVA can win this one. they have a stellar defense.

i think we go 5-1, Bama's pass D isn't taht good but they have one of the best overall Defenses in the nation. if OU could hang with Ttech i think Bama beats them with a dominating run game,
as for LSU its pretty much a toss up, 2 very closely matched teams with lots and lots of speed, there will be a lot of NFL scouts at the game i bet
