I've heard this same "too predictable" complaint about every head coach here from McClendon to Miles, including Saban . . . mostly from folks who don't seem to know a hell of a lot about football. Got any examples? Any analysis?
UGA kicked our a$$ worse last year under Saban, remember? Face it, the Dogs just have our number right now.
This was a tired football team last night. They were a step slow all night. No other team had to play 11 straight games this year, including Georgia. They had their 2 open dates during the season. I'm disapointed in the way they lost last night, but Georgia is a quality team and it was inevitable that it would catch up to them.
Dutch town, Are you serious…you are basing your sales in ’03 from the success of the LSU football team? I am in sales as well, and I think your performance in “03 could be associated in a lot of things. What does that tell you about your performance in “04 and “05…on the success of the LSU football team? If that is the case, you really need to make a move to Southern Cal and the MD’s who USC fans are, you will really be making some serious coin. I base my success (2 time President Club winner), by actually making call, asking and probing the right questions, and meeting the MD’s needs. Also having knowledge and backing up your information regarding your product that you are selling. Maybe you are not asking for the business since ’03…Closing with “How about them Tigers” or “Geaux Tigers!” may not cut it… I think the Tigers are fine. I have seen the same scenario play out in the Bluegrass State. The Savior (Pitino) left for greener pastures, but failed big time, and goes to your most hated rival. You have a man (Smith) come in…and not only takes over , but wins the big dance and has kept the program as one of the Elites…but will never get the love from a small minority who won’t accept him and constantly bash him…we have a saying for these people on web boards (LOD)…see the similarities here. Relax, Miles will do fine and maintain the program…Just because he is not sexy like Saban, does not mean he can’t coach. Now, quit posting on these sites and goes out there and sell!!!! :geauxtige
Could it be that the stint is not covered on formulary in Louisiana but it is in Mississippi? Or the stint is just not a good product…The hurricane and population could have an effect. Maybe the stint is not economical and there is a better and more economical stint on the market? Or could it really be the person selling the stint? Could it be the competition rep is doing a better job and having a better rapport with the MD’s be the reason for down sales? Maybe the goals set for you are unrealistic? Man, I hope your manager does not read this message board…if he does and reads your comments; you are not going to have a good end of year review assessment! :nope: Blaming the lack of sales due to the success of the football team is really ridiculous…but really sad. There are other factors associated for down sales…but LSU football angle is not a good one. By the way, if cardiologist in Louisiana is that vain, God I hope I don’t have a heart attack while visiting the in-laws in Red Stick!:yelwink2: :geauxtige
Yes, that indeed was a tired team last night. Shouldn't have been physically dominated quite so badly, but the fatigue must have played a factor. Oh well, the absolute insistance on playing that N Tx game and thereby eliminating any bye-weeks during the season got 'em in the end...and cost 'em a big BCS bowl payday. Guess it was worth it, eh, Skip?
Boss: DT,You missed your sales quota 11 weeks in a row. DT: Well, LSU sucks under Miles. Boss: They are 10 and 2. DT: Yeah, but they haven't looked good. Boss: But they've won 10 games. DT: They were playing not to lose. Boss: Clean out your desk you stupid phucking idiot. :hihi:
