To be fair, the late hit out of bounds by Landry was very very close. It could easily have been a good play. The late block by Rudy was a brain fart. It was weird why he would do that when the LSU ball carrier was already down. I suspect he was concentrating on the guy to block and not even see his player. Trying too hard?

    what injury did JV have?

I am sorry, but this kid is appearing to be a bust of epic proportions. he has no quickness to hit the hole, and almost looks scared on the field to me. They put Shy in there tonight and there was a huge difference.

JV is third string, maybe even 4th on our team whn all backs are healthy...sorry, just my observation.

Thigh bruise, I heard. Shyrone has never gotten so much playing time before, he didn't get a single carry in his last home game as a senior. I can't believe it was a game plan to run Shyrone so much. I think JV was not 100%. Addai obviously wasn't.

Don't get me wrong, i don't hate anything about LSU and i am a doom and gloomer most of the time, but tonight was just a surprise. Our guys looked amped at first, but we started off with alot of mistakes. We started JV, and that seemed like a dumb decision, but we kept going to him and not Shyrone who was doing very well behind our tall line.

We lost alot with the injuies to AB and JA which gave UGA the RB advantage. From that point on we had to rely on a flimsy passing attack and UGA just t'd off on us. This team was basically improvised all year with no real offensive identity. The D left alot to be desired to (dont preach 4th in the nation).

l still don't know if Les is the right man for the job, and would much rather have a great Defensive mind wearing the head set, but we will see what happens. Today was Miles last warning that the SEC doesn't play around, we come out and bust people in the mouth... hell even Vandy does that sometimes.

    Final Grades
    __________

Coaching: C- bad clock management, bad gameday plans, but good results

HC - dunno how to grade him, because he doesn't really call anything

OC - C- way to predictable, tries to hard to be balanced rather then going with what works

DC - B- Started off bad, got really good and ended bad
    __________________________________

QB: B+ JR plays a hell of a game, but still needs some refining

RB: A Addai was great all year, and Shyrone was great, JV even helped out in the Bama game

WR: D Dropped passes, giving up on catches, overrated

TE: ? i thought we were supposed to use them alot this year

OLine: C Great pass protection, horrible run blocking

Overall O - C Didn't use our team speed to our advantage, bad hands, young QB
    ____________________________________________

DLine: A saved our ass many times

LBs: C- the weakest link, we need some headcrackers like UGA, and AU

DBs: C good most of the time, Prude gets a B for saving our ass alot

Overall D = C lack of fundamentals (tackle, coverage, et al)

I'll take a stab at it too. JaMarcus taking 445 yard sacks to kill drives. How many 10+ yard sacks has he taken to kill drives, way too damn many. Think a little bit and do something, get out of there and throw the damn ball away or something. Dont run into a sack 15 yards behind the line of scrimmage. I'm sorry guys, I'm drunk and still pissed off.

I think the momentum was in their favor from the two early TD's. The loose of Jessie really hurt.

the once every other game INT at the wrong time hurt us too.

it seems we took our "C" game to Atlanta.

The offense looked typical, they didn't step up, like they did agaisnt Bama and Auburn. It's not just JR's fault, the blame can be spread around.

10-2 with a -10 turnover margin and mediocre play the whole season. That is pretty incredible

We lost tonight for the same reason that we have struggled, even in victory, all year. Poor offensive line play. We have not had a running game all year and JR has had to run for his life all year long We are 10-2 because of our defense and because of JR's ability to make the big play at crucial times. Whitworth? Niswanger? Fugettaboutit. We'll be better off without 'em.
