I like this thread very much. Here I am on page 7 and no mention yet of Henry Thomas. Y'all need to know that when I was at LSU, he was the baddest man on the field and everyone on both teams knew it! Just as quick as Lavalais and as strong as Andolsek. Speaking of the late Erik Andolsek...he gets a nod from me just for picking a fight with OSU All American Chris Spielman DURING THE COIN TOSS!

My Favorite...Rohan Davey for single handedly willing the team to the next level. Thanks Ro!

My favorite player of all time that I actually watched play was Eric Martin, for he was the same great, tough, sure-handed player and team leader for both LSU and for the Saints.

From what I've read, I imagine I would have loved watching Tommy Cassanova. I just liked what's been said about his attitude and you can't question his enormous athletic ability, either.

A good friend who got me my shot at LSU. I miss the hell out of him.

No question for me it was Rohan Davey. When he took the purple team downfield on the last drive of the 2001 spring game I knew we would have a very special season.

Yeah...it's a color...the original quote was "Aw...burned another one." As in farts. Later shortened to Awburn. Loss of color in black hinney hair came as the black hair weakened or "burned." Also known as DINGLEBERRIES.......

    j/k Proud Tiger:hihi: :hihi:

I didn't care about hoops until Pete came along.

    NOBODY in South Looziana did...

To watch him play was like watching a mysterious magician...

...you really didn't care if the Tigers won or not (well, not as much) - all you wanted to do was see how was gonna blow your mind that night with some super-human pass, shot, dribble...

His mind, his creativity, was absolutely astounding.

You literally could not keep your eyes off dude when he had the ball...

...it was if he had hypnotized the rock to do whatever he wanted it to do...

...he did things that NOBODY had ever seen or might ever see again...

He was charismatic, enigmatic, changing like the roiling ocean waves...

Nobody will ever replace him in my mind -
I always saw him as an Aladdin with a basketball.

I feel so lucky that he played for my beloved  Tigers and that I got to see him play live so many times, including the night he broke Oscar's record against Ole Miss.

    RIP Pistol. :bncry:

    We miss ya.
