Good break down of the remaining games and possible bowl match ups. I, personally, do not see Miami winning out. http://www.ajc.com/uga/content/sports/1105/14cfbinsider.html
CFN now has the Orange taking a 11-1 West Virginia over a 9-2 Ohio State. I can't see that happening as Miami (if they win out) will be the first Orange pick.
The computer rankings have LSU at 11, 8, 8, 6, 8, ? Since the 11 gets tossed, I think we will move ahead of Penn State and V.T. to 4, closely behind Miami. A lot better than I expected earlier this morning.
They would not be an at large bid, they would be an automatic bid from the big east conference, at least until 07 when the BCS will review the conference memberships again.
Penn St has two very easy games left, but no championship game. Once we take care of whoever in the SECCG we will move ahead of them, if not sooner. I think that is a lock assuming that we both win out. Miami will drop a game. If USC or TX loses, we go.
You better hope South Florida loses. West Virginia is bad enough, but could you imagine if it's South Florida? Rooting against South Florida ... yeah, it is truly a weird world in college football.:dis:
