Okay... we arrived at LSU at 3:00 in the morning, and didn't leave until around 4:00 or so... maybe later... With all of the stops we made, we got there around 10:15, plenty of time to watch the meat of the College Gameday Show... While there, it sure seemed like we took over the Gameday site... I don't know what was evident on tv, but our "LSU" chants seemed to be taking over the entire space... When Lee Corso put on the Tiger hat, the whole place turned into a frenzy, because the Bama fans were cheering Herbstreit, and we were cheering Corso... (Herbstreit gets burned by LSU again) Once we got out of there, around 12:00 or so, we had a tailgate right on the outside of the little shops they have spread all over Bama's campus, and I must tip my hat to LSU student government, because that was some of the best food I had ever eaten at a football game. The Bama campus, for those of you who have never been, is SOOOOOO much different from LSU's campus. LSU's campus is composed of huge buildings all over the place, making it look sort of like it's own city. Bama's campus is composed of a lot of smaller buildings, making it look like it's large town. Both atmospheres were great... Pre-game, the Alabama fans were really nice. They joked with us, asked us honest questions about our team, etc... The normal stuff good fans would do... The 3 hours of the game speak for themselves... The atmosphere in our endzone was SOOOOO great... To see all of the purple and gold scattered all over was tremendous... During the Alma-Mater, a couple of LSU players had "BEAT BAMA" shirts, and after we sang, Coach Miles came and waved to the entire student section (It looked like he wanted to come in, but it was so elevated, unlike LSU.) After the game was the only negative thing I have to say... A couple of students had an LSU flag that they took to the game, so naturally they had to bring it back to the bus with them, and I swear EVERY Bama fan we ran into told them to "get some class" or to "grow up" Which sets a HUGE double standard: It is okay for you to tease us ALL day at College Gameday because we lost to Tennessee, but we can't have an LSU flag, even though these people WERE NOT saying a word about anything... The Bama fans were REALLY angry, and frankly 30% of them were just straight up poor sports... But as usual, every fan base has it's bad apples! But that was our day, and I need to thank Student Gov't and LSU, b/c that was definately one of the coolest days of my life!
Damn, reading that makes me even more dissapointed that I decided to go to class before I went to buy a ticket. I really underestimated the demand, I thought there was no way they'd sell out before noon.
Yea, I was at GameDay. I had the CODY DAVIS IS IN THE HIZZY sign. I heard LSU LSU LSU LSU and I saw all of yall coming around the corner. It felt like we were in Baton Rouge when yall showed up. Yesterday really was one of the best days of my life.

I was right behind you most of GameDay. I was in a Beat Bama shirt... with Bama written on a piece of duct tape...
LOL. Was she an LSU girl or a Bama girl? Man, those Bama women are damn sexy. LSU and Alabama have the sexiest girls in the SEC, IMO.
Actually Bama fans were cheering for Corso. Everytime Gameday has been here, he picks us and we lose...So we were hoping for a change. We HATE when he picks us. The "Corso Curse". Also, I wasn't a mad one. After the game, I was very quiet and gave congrats to a few LSU fans. One actually turned to me and yelled the "around the hole" BS...That didn't really help at all. o: Um, so I saw that some of you guys like to ride in style! I saw a bright yellow Lambo go by the Quad after GameDay...I took a pic with my phone! Niiiiiice! :thumb: Reauxll Tide!
That car (if we are talking about the same one) is a Bama cheerleader...his Dad bought it for him as a graduation present.
