Will be landing in Tuscaloosa around 1:00 on Friday. The more and more I think about it, the more excited I get about being able to go to this game. When is the last time LSU and Alabama hava faced each other and both teams being in the Top 5? Since Miami plays VTech, we should both go up at least 1 spot. Bama will probably be 3 in the polls if VTech loses, which they will.
I'll be the look-out for your truck. We'll be in front of Bidgood Hall in the Quad. Still no tickets... but we're working on it...
Thought I'd barge into this conversation for a minute. Someone asked what time the game was, it is the 2:30 CBS game. Yall seem pretty excited about this road trip. I'm always excited about road trips, they're so much fun. This game also promises to be a great one between two top 5 teams which is amazing. Anyways, in case any of yall have never been, let me suggest some places to hit on your trip. The Houndstooth on University (the strip). It's a great sports bar (#1 college sports bar, #14 sports bar overall by Sports Illustrated) and on gamedays it's usually packed with opposing fans. Big Bad Wolf BBQ. It's right up the street from the 'tooth, it's an outdoor BBQ joint with fantastic sandwiches. Cheap Shots. It's a bar, also on the strip but across the street from the 'tooth. A lot of the bars on the strip are full of fraternity/sorority types (which I am) but Cheap Shots isn't. It's always crowded but with a different, more friendly group. Plus they have hundreds of different shots you can choose from, live music, and a nintendo that only plays super mario bros. set up right at the bar. Anyways, I hope to hang out and have a few drinks with some of yall next weekend. Have a good time in Tuscaloosa.
